Why I built Weepless

It all started with my daughter screaming and running from wasps in our own backyard.

I did what any father would: I threw money at the problem. Hundreds of dollars on sprays that washed away in the rain. Exterminators that put me on a subscription just to treat the surface. DIY hacks that worked for a bit, then the pests were right back.

Then one afternoon, I was outside and watched a wasp crawl straight into my brick siding. That's when I learned about weep holes, those small slits along the foundation of brick homes.

The more I dug into it, the more I realized the problem was deeper than just that one wasp. Under our noses, pests of all kinds are building networks in the walls of our homes, using weep holes as unguarded entrances. The wasp that was chasing my daughter was part of a colony, living and breeding in my walls.

I tried every fix out there. Rat wire that was unsightly and corroded within a season, DIY solutions that did more harm than good, cheap guards that cracked and fell apart in the sun. Nothing stopped the pests for good.

I built Weepless to be the fix that actually works.

For less than the cost of one exterminator visit, I made my own home forever pest-proof in about 20 minutes. That's the investment I wish I had made years ago.
